This "Y" tube is designed to be used with a cabin heat box to make warm air available to two or more locations in the aircraft. Constructed of seamless 6061T4 tube. It weighs only 1.7 ounces. These tubes are expanded to a 2" ID on the inlet end, to slip over and clamp to the 2" OD tube of the cabin heat box, or even ganged. They are furnished with one stainless steel hose clamp.

This is a DL-010 “Y” Tube, modified with a shut-off valve in the straight run tube. The shut-off valve enables the builder to divert the flow of air from the straight tube and direct all or part of the air flow to the angled tube. Furnished with one stainless steel hose clamp. 2” DIAMETER “90°” TUBE

This unit is designed to slide over the end of the 2” O.D. tube protruding from a cabin heat box that extends through the firewall. The short end of this unit is expanded to 2” I.D. One stainless steel clamp is furnished with the unit. If you use scat tube, the 90° angle allows you to run the scat tube parallel to the firewall and away from undesirable areas (brake pedals, etc.)

FLANGED DUCT

CARB HEAT CONNECTOR

Mounts on FAB airbox or similar airbox. Flange accepts 2" scat tube from muff. Standoff design allows hot air to escape when carb heat is not selected. Weight .9 ounce.

WARM/COOL AIR MIXER

This unit has a flapper to direct cool air from one side and/or warm air from the other side. It is designed to be riveted or bolted to the firewall.

The shaft, arm, and valve are all stainless steel. The bushings are brass and the tubing is 2” O.D. 6061-T. Weight is 4 ounces. A hose clamp, gasket, and four blind rivets are furnished with this part.

Note: This part can be utilized as is; it can also be connected to P/N DL-019, a shut off valve, to make a warm/cool air selector/mixer. The two units are designed to fit together and can be clamped together with the enclosed hose clamp.

SHUT OFF VALVE

This unit is expanded on one end to 2” I.D. to slip over a 2” OD tube to regulate or shut off air. (It is also available non-expanded for in-line applications.)

The bushings are brass and the tubing is 2” O.D. 6061-T. The shaft, arm, and flapper valve are all stainless steel. Weight is 2 ounces. A stainless steel hose clamp is furnished with this part.

Note: This part can be utilized as is; it can also be connected to P/N DL-016, an air mixer, to make a warm/cool air selector/mixer. The two units are designed to fit together and can be clamped together with the enclosed hose clamp.

EYEBALL AIR VENT ADAPTER

(Also referred to as a Vent Shroud) The extension on the back of aluminum eyeball air vents is very narrow and allows little room to attach SCAT ducting. This adapter enables the user to attach 2" diameter SCAT ducting to the back of the vent using a stainless steel clamp. Not to be confused with the DL-011, which will not work for this purpose, as this adapter is expanded differently. Weight .2 ounce.

This is a direct replacement for the VA175 (Van’s part number). The VA175 directs warm air in the RV-10 tunnel to both sides equally. With the Modified VA175, air can be directed all to one side, partially to one side, or both sides, through the controllable (cable actuated) flapper on the inside of the unit.
